If the print is for someone else, choose the date with them in mind. A birthday is often the gentlest choice. If you are not sure, it is fine to ask a family member which day they hold onto.

Can I add their name and years?

Yes, within 80 characters on two short lines, for example “Eleanor Grace” above “1941 to 2025”.

Does it work for a pet?

Yes. Choose the day they came home or their birthday, and add their name.

When will it arrive?

Prints are made to order in 2 to 5 business days and ship free to Canada and the US. Most arrive within 1 to 2 weeks. Phone cases reach US addresses in about 1 to 2 weeks and Canadian addresses in about 2 to 5 weeks.

Is there a last-minute option?

Yes. Choose the digital file and we email it within 24 to 48 hours as a high-resolution JPG, ready to print or to send.

How accurate is it?

Each planet’s position on your date is calculated from NASA JPL’s published orbital data. On a 16x20 print, every planet sits within half a millimeter of NASA JPL’s reference position, for any date from 1900 to 2050. You can compare your date with NASA’s own simulator.

Will I see it before it is made?

Yes. The studio draws your design live as you choose the date and the words, and that is exactly what we make.
